Support Us

The Dunedin Fringe is a great community project that exists to benefit artists and the wider community by providing thoughtful and provocative entertainment, by providing opportunities for artists to perform and develop their work to new levels. We rely on the support of a wide range of people to do what we do and there are a number of ways people can contribute to our mission.

Advertising

Many businesses in Dunedin and throughout New Zealand advertise in our printed Festival brochure. Called the Festival Guide, this stylish publication is an essential tool for all audience members to access the Festival programme. The Guide is a full colour A4 magazine style publication with 15,000 copies printed. Advertising starts at $200 excluding GST and can be booked from September to December 2012 for the 2013 Festival Guide. The Guide is printed in mid February, launched at a special event and then widely distributed throughout Dunedin and to selected outlets nationwide.

Our Festival website is also an excellent way to engage with a growing audience. The website has a skyscraper advertisement which provides a strong profile for advertisers.

For advertising rates and more information please contact the Festival office.

Sponsorship

Sponsoring the Festival is a great way to be actively involved with our events, artists and audiences. The Festival has 350 artist participants and over 16,000 audience members. The Festival produces a number of special events that provide opportunities for businesses and other organisations to participate in the Festival.

Sponsorship involves developing a partnership where both the Festival and the sponsor work together to make a special event happen. Festival staff work hard to deliver a range of benefits to our sponsors in return for their financial support or donated services.

For more information on sponsorship please contact the Festival director.

Volunteering

Volunteers are essential members of the Festival team. We recruit and manage a team of over 50 volunteers who perform a range of roles prior and during the Festival. This can include venue staff, ticketing, administration and promotion activities. If you’re interested in volunteering for the Festival please see the information on our Get Involved page or get in touch with Festival office.

Donations

The Fringe Festival is produced by the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust, a charitable trust registered with the Charities Commission. We accept donations from individuals or organisations. Please contact Festival staff if you would like to discuss making a donation.
