The form can be filled in and emailed to the Festival or printed, filled in and posted. Please ensure that your survey is returned to the Fringe office by 16 May 2008.

Congratulations to Our Participating Artists

Well done to the many artists who have registered an event for the 2008 Dunedin Fringe Festival. Dozens of events have been registered and hundreds of artists will be involved in the 2008 Dunedin Fringe. It has been a very exciting couple of weeks getting to know a whole bunch of new artists and also welcoming back those who have been involved before. Many artistic events are being created specifically for the Dunedin Fringe and we can't wait to see the plethora of ideas come to fruition.

Artists from all major New Zealand cities will be represented, expats fresh from the UK and Australia bring new work and perspectives, and many local artists from Dunedin are working together to create a strong programme for the public to enjoy.

Fifty applications have been received from artists from all over New Zealand as well as Australia and the United Kingdom. Festival Director, Paul Smith, said the number and high standard of applications showed artists have got the message about the change in Festival dates from September to late March-early April, and shows confidence in the new format. He said he was very excited about the wonderful ideas and events being proposed but it is not too late for others to be involved.
